A Red Crescent ambulance was seen driving several rioters disguised as wounded civilians during a violent riot in the Binyamin area of the West Bank Monday, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai, sharply criticized the Red Crescent in a letter to the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in the West Bank and Gaza Monday.
"A Red Cross ambulance was documented helping Palestinian rioters in Ramallah, under the guise of medical treatment ... Sees this very seriously and demands that the case be investigated and updated on the findings."
"Either the Red Crescent is lying, or it has explanations to give. We are waiting for his response," he continued.
