Zaides to perform some ‘Research’ Having just presented his work Quiet at the
Theatre National De Chaillot in Paris, Israeli choreographer Arkadi Zaides is
back in Israel to perform his latest production Land-Research. In Land-Research,
Zeides creates on stage a space of exploration and observation, examining the
complex relations between body and land. Against panoramic photos of broken
scenery, five solo performers from different backgrounds go through individual
processes of transformation.
Land Research will be performed on November
1 at Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv. For more info visit

The Kaiser is coming – in a new
exhibit Kaiser Wilhelm II and his wife, empress Augusta Victoria, made a
historic trip to Jerusalem as the focal point of their travels to the Holy Land
in 1898 between October 29 and November 4. Their visit received unprecedented
coverage.
Local press reported on the journey, and foreign newspapers
devoted caricatures to the trip. An exhibition at the Tower of David Museum in
Jerusalem focuses on the royal visit, showing original newspapers, photographs
and a series of huge projected images and typical cameras of the era. The
exhibit runs until March. For more info visit
