IF ANYONE had any doubts about whether model Bar Rafaeli had "arrived" on the international scene, the photographs taken of her at the Cannes Film Festival should have dispelled them. Rafaeli was one of the hundreds of people in the audience for the screening of A Mighty Heart, the film starring Angelina Jolie and Dan Futterman. Based on the book by Mariane Pearl, the film tells the story of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was abducted and murdered in 2002 while researching a story in Pakistan on Islamic militants. The Pearls' son Adam, who was born after his father's death, will celebrate his fifth birthday tomorrow (Monday). Despite the large number of film personalities in attendance, Rafaeli attracted particular attention because her boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly arrived in Cannes without her and was seen canoodling with Puerto Rican actress Daya Fernandez. Celebrity watchers in the international media are convinced that Bar and Leonardo are history, and have published headline stories to that effect. But the couple's on and off romance has sparked this kind of speculation before, so it's possible that those who are writing off the relationship may yet again be mistaken. FOLLOWING A short break, The Good Life, the flagship program of The Good Life Channel, returns to the airwaves. The 2007 series will be hosted by Shirley Glick, one of Israel's top models. Glick, 35, began her television career as a field reporter on Good Evening with Guy Pines, where she and fellow model Aya Kremerman commented on gala events and interviewed celebrities in a gushy fashion - quite different from the style employed in most interview shows. Since then, Glick has hosted various television shows, has written on fashion for The Marker and continued her modeling career as a house model for Dorin Frankfurt. She also headed a campaign for Eliane Stoleru. The Good Life resumes on June 1 and has been on the air for three years with a different presenter each season. NO ONE is irreplaceable, including broadcaster Gabi Gazit, who despite all the efforts to have him stay on Israel Radio's "It's all Talk," is now no longer employed by the Israel Broadcasting Authority. Gazit presented the program for the last time on May 16. The show's new host is Yaron Dekel, who is returning to Israel after a five-year stint in the US. Dekel, who was approached by IBA Director-General Moti Shklar, was supposed to wind up his affairs in the US at the end of August, but has rushed the process and instead will make his "It's all Talk" debut at the beginning of July. Dekel, who has been reporting for both Israel Radio and Channel One, will continue to work for radio and television and will appear on Channel One as a political commentator. Meanwhile, Ayala Hasson has been filling in since Gazit's departure, and has earned herself more than a few compliments from some of her interviewees.
