Palestinian 'Paradise Now' nominated for Oscar

Paradise Now was nominated on Tuesday as "Palestine's" candidate for the Best Film category for the Oscar awards. The film, directed by Hany Abu-Assad, examines the decision of two friends from Nablus, Said and Khaled, who volunteer to carry out a suicide bombing in Israel. The picture won the Golden Globe Best Film award two weeks ago.
