Tmuna, the experimental Tel Aviv fringe theater company, is celebrating a year
of its festivals with a medley of events at the Tmuna Festival from October 16 –
25. On October 26 & 27, the theater hosts the Montefiore Music Festival that
will showcase the latest in avant-garde music.
As well as pieces from
A-Genre and IntimaDance, there are three dance premieres and a piece from

art. It’s called A Provocation Pure and Simple
and is by expat Anat Eisenberg
and her company.
The premieres are Plan B
by Michal Herman, a quirky
dance piece for “beginner” audiences.
The audience is also part of the
action in Moran Aviv’s Contour Lines – Hosting Arena.
Hagai Linik offers
, a here and now meditation on imagination.
The 11 shows also
include The Bible Teacher
, a new play by Prof. Yossi Yzraely that tackles the
subject of pedophilic urges.
The Montefiore Festival showcases music in
and on the historic neighborhood with events at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on both days.
In addition, there will be music at the Tmuna bar from 10 p.m. nightly during
