2. LEARN ABOUT LOCAL JUDAICA
A
new permanent exhibition at the Eretz Israel Museum, “Local Judaica,”
displays Jewish artifacts produced in Israel between 1880 and 1967.
The
exhibit deals with the development of Israeli culture, the changes made
by the waves of immigration and their impact on the shape and symbolism
of Judaica.

“Final
Sale: The End of Jewish-Owned Businesses in Nazi Berlin” is a new
exhibition at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which has been shown
in New York and Berlin. Through the example of 16 Berlin businesses, the
exhibition illustrates the process by which Jews were disenfranchised
and their livelihoods destroyed.

Roots,” a new exhibition at the Museum of Design in Holon, looks at the

next concert in the Tzlilei Kesem series with Nitza Shaul tells the
story of composer Joseph Haydn in his youth, who was known in Vienna for
his angelic voice but also for his mischievous behavior. As in all the
concerts in the series, there will be actors in full costume, dancers, a

10th season of the Keshet Eilon concert series opens tomorrow at 9 p.m.
with “Adon Haslihot” (Lord of Forgiveness), a concert of Jewish gospel
