At a home for retired musicians, the annual concert to celebrate Verdi’s birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean, an eternal diva and former wife of one of the residents. Dustin Hoffman directed Quartet, a brilliant, touching comedy with Hoffman and a stellar cast of Britain’s best, including Maggie Smith, Billy Connolly, Pauline Collins, Michael Gambon and Tom Courtenay.

CELEBRATE BOB'S BIRTHDAY


Catch the House of Marley at The Barby Club, Tel Aviv, tonight as two of late reggae legend Bob Marley’s sons take the stage for a reggae Purim Ball celebrating their dad’s birthday.

DISCOVER THE ‘MAGIC’

The acclaimed full production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, translated into Hebrew by late Ehud Manor, returns to the Israeli Opera stage for Purim, with a cast of the opera’s young soloists and a musical ensemble.

EXPERIENCE VAN GOGH’S ART

More than 2,000 paintings, drawings and sketches, comprising the entirety of Vincent Van Gogh’s short but prolific career, are on display at the multi-sensory traveling exhibition “Van Gogh Alive.”

KEEP IN STEP


Acclaimed choreographer Mourad Merzouki’s AGWA is a high-energy display of complex hip hop, capoeira, samba and acrobatics. The work was inspired by an encounter between Merzouki and Kafig, a group of 11 young Brazilian dancers from Companhia Urbana de Dança, which maintains a focus on the movements’ roots and geographical origins.
