Some of Israel's top musicians and actors will converge on the stage of the Cameri Theater in Tel Aviv on Friday afternoon for a star-studded benefit performance for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.According to the organizer, Cameri actor Sarit Vino-Elad, all proceeds from the event will go directly to Israel Flying Aid (IFA), a non-profit relief organization which has sent volunteers to help the victims in Haiti."We're trying to raise money to send more volunteers to Haiti and help rebuild one of the orphanages we've been helping, and make it earthquake-resistant," said Vino, who has volunteered with IFA for years."We know we can't fix the world, but we can focus on one small mission that can make a difference. We have one group there now, taking care of the orphans and looking into the logistics of what is needed."The show, beginning at 3:30 p.m. and co-hosted by Vino-Elad and Channel 2's Danny Kushmaro, will feature, among others, Ivri Lider, Yirmi Kaplan, Mosh Ben Ari, Sagol 59, Keren Peles, Harel Skaat, Shlomi Shaban, Natan Datner, Ninet Tayeb and Tzvika Pik."The Cameri donated the stage in-between shows, because they're booked all the time,"said Vino-Elad, who is currently appearing in the theater's production of Fiddler on the Roof. "I want to emphasize that everyone is volunteering their talents and time, and that 100% of the money will go to Haiti.""Israel Flying Aid is based upon the Jewish principles of the prophet Isaiah, to 'Uphold the rights of the orphan; defend the cause of the widow,' and in doing so we do not discriminate by race, nationality or religion," said Gal Lusky, CEO and founder of IFA.
