Marsh Dondurma is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a benefit show to raise money for Katya Baum Hai, who is in urgent need of a kidney transplant. The brass band, which started out as a street band in Jerusalem, is composed of 15 members on brass, percussion and reed instruments. The show will be held on February 15 at Murphy's bar in Modi'in. One of the bar's owners, Ziv Gavish, and the band's trombonist, Arnon De Botton, are friends with Baum from their days in the IDF. Baum Hai received a kidney from her father eight years ago, but now her body has rejected the kidney and she desperately needs a new one. Tickets, which run NIS 80, can be purchased by calling 052-347-9092 or 052-614-6625.
