Hilary Leila Krieger is The Jerusalem Post's Washington Bureau Chief, where she writes about the White House, State Department, Pentagon and Congressional policy on Israel, and the wider Middle East and the Jewish community. She spent extensive time on the campaign trail covering the 2008 presidential elections.

Hilary moved back to the United States in 2006 after spending five years in Israel. At The Jerusalem Post she covered beats including immigration, social issues and world Jewry. In addition, she served as the Israel correspondent for the Marketplace radio program, reporting on the Israeli and Palestinian economies.

Before she moved to Israel, Hilary worked for The Boston Herald, The Concord Monitor and British newspaper The American. Hilary, a Boston native, began her career in journalism as the editor-in-chief of The Cornell Daily Sun.
