Michael Wilner is the New York and United Nations correspondent for The Jerusalem Post.

A native New Yorker, Wilner has reported from Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East on business, cultural and international affairs. Among other assignments, he has reported on location from Singapore on the 2008 financial crisis, from Kuwait on the Arab Spring, from Tanzania on the withdrawal of UN personnel, from Vatican City on birth control policy and from Delhi on US foreign policy.

Wilner earned his bachelor's degree in philosophy, politics and economics as a McKenna Scholar at Claremont McKenna College in Los Angeles, California, where he was editor-in-chief of the student newspaper. He graduated in 2012 as a Hindery Fellow from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in New York City, where he wrote his master's project on funding for traumatic brain injury (TBI) research after the War in Afghanistan and took coursework on covering religion and conflict.
