Looney Livni loses it

A woman scorned can sometimes do ridiculous things.

 

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, head of the negotiating-wth-the-Palestinian-Authority-for-peace team, who failed (again) was off in England.

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni (Hatnua) did not represent the State of Israel when she met in London with PA President Mahmoud Abbas, officials in Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s office told the media Saturday night.
 
Israel’s policy, as expressed in a government vote, is not to negotiate with a Palestinian government that is united with Hamas, a terrorist organization intent on destroying the Jewish state, Netanyahu told Livni in a message he sent to her before the Abbas meeting on Thursday.

An official from the Prime Minister’s Office who spoke with Livni said, “you will represent only yourself and not the government of Israel.”

 

I can imagine this scene:

 

 

But, seriously, is this not undermining Israel''s diplomatic position --- unless, of course, they were discussing Abbas'' plans for his re-election, the disavowal of the Hamas unity deal (remember when she said: "We will continue the peace process with Abbas and continue the war with Hamas") and the willingness of the Pal. Authority to permit Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount?

 

We know she''s his favorite and she revealed:

 

Livni quit smoking in 1998, but she recalled that, during those talks, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas would bring her cigarillos “so I could join the men smoking.”

 

Or is this just Lag Ba''omer smoke?
