Exposure to direct sunlight can cause a lot of problems to our skins. One of the major disasters is the destruction of collagen, the substance that yields elasticity to the skin. This results to formation of wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. Sometimes, sun rays can produce so much heat that can result to the formation of the sunspots. Sunburns also are among the effects of the exposure to direct sunlight. All these negative effects can be prevented using the following methods;

6. Fatty acids 
The most common healthy fatty acid is Omega-3. It reduces the risk of skin cancer that may result from exposure to UV rays. It is important to take omega-3 through the foods substances since; it is one of the substances that the body does not produce. Some of the foods that are great sources of these fatty acids are beans, walnuts, salmon and berries. You should never miss fatty acids in your diet.
7. Slices of cucumbers
Cucumbers slices are majorly used as the natural face masks. It contains potassium, vitamins, sulfates and silica that are great for skin care. The antioxidants in vitamin A make it great in working against sun damage. Silica enhances the elasticity of the skin reducing the chances of wrinkles due to the sun. In addition, it reduces the effect of the free radicals in promoting fast aging.

8. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a substance that is well known in enhancing every aspect of beauty. It is used to enhance the beauty of the hair by keeping them elastic and strong. This happens to be one of the substances that make great hair loss cure. It also treats any infection on the scalp that could result in hair loss. Aloe Vera is also a great sunscreen that prevents the skin from damage caused by the ultra-violet rays of the sun. Aloe Vera cab obtained directly from the plant leaf or the already extracted in the over counter product.

The beauty of an individual depends on how well they maintain themselves. Maintaining means being able to keep your beauty up to the standard and preventing anything that can damage it. Sun is one of the major sources of damage to the skin beauty. It is well said that prevention is better than cure. The above substances are most of what you need to prevent your skin against damage by UV rays. Most of them are induced into the body through eating foods rich in these substances. Another effective way is through direct application of the substances on the skin.
