1,100 new housing unites approved for Gilo in J'lem

The District Committee for Planning and Construction in Jerusalem approved the tenders for 1,100 housing units in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo, Israel Radio reported Tuesday.

The construction program includes a promenade, public-use buildings, a school and a commercial zone, the report said.
