3 arrested for smuggling $1m. in cocaine from Brazil

Police arrested three men after catching them smuggling cocaine from Brazil into Israel, police reported on Thursday.

Police had been tracking the drug ring for weeks. The men, residents of Bnei Brak and Kfar Chabad, left for Brazil a week ago. Upon their return to Israel on Wednesday afternoon, airport police found 10.5 kg of cocaine, worth $1 million, in the lining of their suitcases.
