Some 150 haredi demonstrators gathered in Jerusalem's Mea Shearim neighborhood on Saturday evening to protest violation of Shabbat in the capital.

According to police, rocks and bottles were hurled by protesters at security forces deployed nearby, prompting police to move in and break up the demonstration by force. Three officers were lightly wounded by rocks, including one that required medical attention.

The demonstrators were eventually dispersed by police. One minor was arrested for throwing rocks.
