Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday urged the Middle East Quartet to adopt clear terms when dealing with negotiations and stressed that the US should not be allowed to veto its decisions.

“It is not possible that three members [European Union, Russia and the United Nations] agree on everything and then the US comes and vetos them,” Abbas said in an interview broadcast on Voice of Palestine radio.
