Attorney Yaakov Weinroth is acquitted in tax bribery trial

Attorney Yaakov Weinroth was acquitted Monday of all charges following a trial centering around bribery and money laundering allegations involving the Tax Authority.

Weinroth was accused of providing legal services without charge or for an unusually low fee on behalf of an assessor in the Gush Dan branch of the Tax Authority.

Shuki Vita, a former senior official in the Tax Authority, was also acquitted in the case.
