Barak: Assad no longer partner for negotiations

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that Syrian President Bashar Assad has lost legitimacy in front of his nation, in the international community and is no longer a partner for future negotiations.

Speaking about the situation at Israel's border with Syria where the Syrian government has claimed the IDF killed more than 20 protesters in "Naksa Day" protests, the defense minister said the IDF is ready for continuing protests and attempts to breach the fence.
