The cease-fire agreed to by Israel and Hamas is not an agreement, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Thursday morning, calling it instead a memorandum of understandings published by Hamas in order to boast achievements.
"There is no agreement. I am holding the paper in my hands," Barak told Israel Radio.
Mediated by Egypt, the cease-fire reached Wednesday night brought an end to eight days of airstrikes, rockets and shelling between Israel and terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip.
