Barak to fly to US, meet Biden, Clinton, Panetta and Ban

Defense Minister Ehud Barak was scheduled to leave for a three-day visit to the US on Wednesday in which he will meet with senior US officials, Army Radio reported.

Barak was scheduled to meet with US Vice President Joseph Biden and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday. Later in the trip he was expected to meet with new US Defense Minister Leon Panetta.

On Friday, Barak was scheduled to meet with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
