The Beduin residents of the unrecognized township of al-Arakiv have returned to their demolished homes to rebuild them after their destruction by authorities on Wednesday.

This is not the first time residents have rebuilt their homes, which are consider illegal structures under Israeli law. "This is a War of Independence," said some of the Beduin residents.

"The bulldozing will lead to an intifada in the Negev," Knesset MK Taleb A-Sanaa (United Arab List - Ta'al) said in response to the state's activities.
