Beersheba court sets remand of 16-year-old murder suspect

Beersheba Magistrate's Court on Sunday extended for six days the remand of the 16-year-old suspect accused of stabbing to death another teenager for asking from him a cigarette last Friday evening.

The suspect is alleged to have killed Elazar Yisrael, 14, after Yisrael asked the suspect to give him a cigarette.

Several other minors suspected of involvement in the deadly incident are also currently being held in police custody while police continue their investigation.
