Before meeting Abbas, Livni was told by Netanyahu: You don’t speak for Israeli government

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told Justice Minister Tzipi Livni before her meeting in London on Thursday with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas that while he approved of the talks, he made it clear to Livni that “she would only be representing herself in the talks, not the government of Israel,” officials in the Prime Minister’s Office said on Saturday.
