Hundreds of Greece travelers at Ben Gurion Airport have been delayed for several hours as a result of a severe strike by Athens airport workers demanding an improvement in their pension benefits, Israel Radio reported Sunday.

Israeli travelers scheduled to return to Israel from the Greek island Santorini have also been stranded for hours as a result of the strike.

A Greek court in Athens has ordered airport employees to resume work immediately.

They are expected to end the strike soon.
