Sucker Camp leader Boaz Nul on Sunday called Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef's call on yeshiva students to put aside their studies in order to focus on campaigning for the party "an outrage."

"According to Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, campaigning for Shas postpones Torah studying, but IDF service does not," Nul, who is running for Knesset with the Tzipi Livni Party, said.

"They (yeshiva students) always take pride in the fact their studies come before everything else, including army service, but all of a sudden distributing amulets as a part of an ethnic campaign is more important," he added.
