A motorist was seriously injured Sunday morning when his car flipped over as he drove on Jerusalem's Uzi Narkiss Bridge, in the north of the capital.

The driver, whom police did not identify, was evacuated to Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital in serious condition by a Magen David Adom response team that arrived at the scene.

The cause of the apparent accident remained unclear on Sunday.
