Workers at the Ne'amat chain of daycare centers are to go on strike across the country. The one-day strike, meant as a warning before further measures, comes following the failure of Ne'amat to raise their workers' wages.

Two hundred and fifty centers will not open their doors on September 1. The chair of the workers' committee threatened that many more strikes would follow.
