Carmel residents hold midnight protest, damage police car

Hundreds of residents of the Mt. Carmel area held a protest march on the mountain overnight Wednesday, causing damage to a police car.

Local council heads and other dignitaries broke up the demonstration. A short while later, however, a rock was hurled at a police car, causing light damage.

No one was hurt.
