US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday said that the United States would continue to push for a durable, negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

"Regardless of what happens tomorrow in the United Nations, we remain focused on the day after," Clinton told reporters, referencing PA President Mahmoud Abbas's expected bid to gain full membership of a Palestinian state at the international organization.
