Code red siren sounded south of Ashkelon; no rockets located

A code red rocket alert siren was sounded south of Ashkelon early Thursday morning.

Authorities did not immediately locate any rockets that had fallen in Israeli territory.

Security forces were checking the possibility that a rocket fired in the direction of southern Israel may have landed on the Gaza side of the border.
