C'tee shoots down appeal over Constitution C'tee vote

An appeal against the approval for first reading of a law that would see changes made to the way Supreme Court Justices are nominated was defeated Tuesday.

The appeal, put forth by MK Isaac Herzog (Labor) was defeated in the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee was defeated with seven votes against it against six votes that supported it.
