Defense Minister Liberman: 'We must honor the court system'

In a Facebook post Tuesday, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman stated that now that Azaria's "ridiculous trial" is over, he hopes "all sides will do what needs to be done in order to finally leave it behind us."

"As I've stated in the past, even those who disagree with the ruling, or the trial, must honor the court system."

Liberman added: "On one hand we are speaking about an outstanding soldier, on the other a terrorist who came to kill Jews. This is was everyone needs to take into account. "
