In an unusual move, Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Tuesday approved a daytime trip to Joseph's Tomb in Nablus ofor parliamentarians in the Knesset Land of Israel lobby. Last month, a Palestinian security officer killed settler Yosef Ban Livnat as he had snuck into the Palestinian city so that he could pray at the tomb.

The IDF has forbidden Israelis from accessing the tomb, and only allows one monthly late-night visit.
