Shas will not be a security net for the government in order to pass peace accord with Palestinians, party head Arye Deri told Israel Radio on Thursday.
He stressed that Shas will not be a part in any political revenge against Bayit Yehudi, should the latter choose to leave the coalition because of the peace process.
Deri said he sobered up after the Gaza withdrawal and that he feels like he now has an obligation to the land of Israel and to the settlers in Judea and Samaria.
