Doctors to intensify sanctions after breakdown in talks

The Israel Medical Association announced an intensification of sanctions following a breakdown in negotiations between the doctors' union, the Finance Ministry and the Health Ministry.

Next week, non-emergency surgeries will not take place. On Monday there will be a general strike in hospitals throughout the country, as well as doctors in Clalit and Leumit clinics. Wednesday and Thursday, outpatient clinics in hospitals around the country will hold a general strike.
