Some 100 people gathered on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv on Friday night near the site where Moshe Silman set himself on fire at a social justice protest last week, in memorial of the 57-year-old who succumbed to his wounds earlier in the day.
Silman was scheduled to be laid to rest on Sunday. He passed away at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer after six days of treatment for burns he sustained over 90 percent of his body.
