Some twenty haredim (ultra-Orthodox) threw stones at houses in Shuafat in northeastern Jerusalem on Saturday, lightly injuring an Arab man in the head. The injured man was evacuated for medical treatment.
Police and border police arrested three haredim including a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of involvement in the incident. The minor resisted and struck a border policewoman in the face, lightly injuring her.
In response to the haredi stone-throwers, Arabs threw stones at vehicles belonging to Jews, hitting three of them. One haredi was lightly injured as a result.
