EU agrees to begin moving towards Libya sanctions

European Union states agreed to make moves towards implementing sanctions against Libya, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

"They agreed in a statement to take further measures," an EU diplomat said, adding that "in diplomatic terms, it means sanctions," according to the report.
