Earthquake rocks country from Tiberias to Beersheba

An earthquake of magnitude between 5.6-6.1 on the Richter scale was felt across Israel on Monday.

A large volume of people called the Institute of Seismology with reports and to ask for updates.

The earthquake was felt as far north as Tiberias and as far south as Beersheba.

The last recent earthquake in the area was on May 12 which was of similar, but slightly lower magnitude. No injuries were reported.
