The Education Ministry opened a situation room Sunday to coordinate with local education authorities in light of the rocket fire into Israel from Gaza. Education Ministry Director-General Dalit Shtauber said that schools outside a 40-kilometer range of the Gaza Strip will remain open.
The director-general also instructed schools to hold conversations with students about the situation. Social workers and psychologists were being made available.
