Egyptian security officials on Thursday suggested that Palestinians may have been involved in the bombing of a gas pipeline in Sinai on Wednesday, the Saudi newspaper al Watan reported.

Saleh al-Masri, head of security in northern Sinai, said during the revolution in Egypt, security forces arrested several Palestinians carrying weapons and hinted that they were involved in trying to hit a natural gas terminal to Israel and Jordan.
