Egypt closes Taba casinos in wake of riots

The Egyptian government closed casinos in Taba in the Sinai just south of the Israeli border Sunday due to the riots sweeping the country.

Riots in Egypt spread to the Sinai Peninsula on Saturday as Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported that 12 Egyptian policemen were killed during clashes with the Bedouin residents of Sinai.
