ElBaradei rejects Egyptian PM's offer for talks

Egyptian opposition leader Mohammed ElBaradei has rejected Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Shafik's offer to talk on Thursday morning, saying that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak must step down first.

At the same time, the Egyptian Army created a buffer zone to separate pro- and anti-Mubarak protesters.
