In a raid on a compound in Jaljulya on Wednesday morning, police detectives arrested five men they suspect were part of a series of attempted hits on criminal rivals in the Tel Aviv area over the past year.

According to Tel Aviv police, after several months of undercover work, the district's branch of the YAMAR investigative unit raided the compound on Wednesday and arrested five suspects.

Police believe that the suspects carried out the botched hits as part of a blood feud between them and a rival crime family. Though no one was killed in the hits, there were several victims who were wounded.

All of the suspects face charges of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder, as well as a number of firearms offenses.
