Foreign firefighting planes to remain for another day

All the foreign firefighting planes are expected to stay in Israel until tomorrow to ensure that the blaze has been put out, an Israeli official coordinating the international effort told Israel Radio Sunday evening.

The planes will leave the country after authorities can be certain that no new blazes will break out in the Carmel region.
