Four-year-old child struck by car, seriously hurt in Galilee

A four-year-old child was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured in the Galilee village of Reine on Saturday.

The driver transported the child to hospital in Nazareth. He was scheduled to be moved, likely by helicopter, to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for further treatment.

The driver was detained for questioning.
