Gas pipeline in Sinai explodes, militants suspected

A pipeline in the Sinai Peninsula south of  the city of El-Arish, that transports gas from Egypt to Sinai, was blown up late Monday night by suspected militants, AFP reported citing Egyptian security officials.

There were no immediate reports of injuries in the third such attack in less than a month, AFP reported.
