Grunis orders Hebrew date included in all court documents

Supreme Court President Asher Grunis has ordered all courts to begin including the Hebrew calendar date along with the secular calendar date on all letters and summons issued by the court system, the Legal Forum for Israel (the Forum) announced on Tuesday.
The organization contacted Justice Grunis recently to complain that official court documents listed only the secular date, but not the Hebrew date, as required by law.
According to the Law for Using the Hebrew Date of 1998, all public institutions have been obligated for 14 years already to include the Hebrew date along with the secular date in their official correspondence.
According to the organization's earlier complaint, the court system was systematically ignoring this law.
