Gunmen attack two mosques in Pakistan

LAHORE, Pakistan — Gunmen armed with grenades attacked two mosques belonging to the minority Ahmadi sect during prayers in eastern Pakistan on Friday, officials and witnesses said. The gunmen seized control of one the mosques and battled with police.

At least 20 people were killed in the attacks and some worshipers were believed to have been held hostage, according to rescue officials on the scene.
